Having played Live at Squamish on Saturday night, which was amazing. Myself and fellow band-mates Nick McRae, and Adam Sutherland were all feeling a little haggered after two nights of hard partying with the boys in The Matinee, a chance encounter with Dallas Green, and a cold, cold Monday night spent camping in Manning park.
Rolling down the crappy dirt road to RockRidge for PEAK Performance Boot Camp this year, I was feeling a small amount of trepidation, but nothing compared to last year. Going in as a “seasoned veteren“, I have a small idea of what to expect. But, as we turned the corner, and rock ridge came into view, I suddenly felt like I was home. Boot Camp last year was my favourite experience of 2011, and I am so happy to be back. It feels somewhat surreal, like I was here yesterday. I’m looking forward to meeting new friends, and to record my epic jam with Tough Lovers, and Producer Jeff Dawson on Saturday night. Big Hockey game tonight. We artists have to defend our title from last year.
